Endorsements

What's an endorsement:

Endorsements are a formal declaration of support of approval for a candidate to be elected.

Does an endorsement equal political alignment?

Not always. Most unions & coalitions endorse who fundraised the most. Some require $50K bases. Planned Parenthood issues a 100% rating to candidates who 100% politically align, but aren't endorsed (below). Some  will not choose a primary candidate if they have multiple strong candidates. Many associations chose not to endorse in the Lieutenant Governor democratic primary race this year.

Is that why BridgieNix doesn't take money from special interests, dark PAC money, or corporations?

Yes. This was one of many factors in her decision to protest "dark money". Her platform is about fairness in economics & staying aligned to your beliefs.          "The system will never change if we keep enabling it."

What else goes into an endorsement?

While it varies, many require email outreach, questionnaires, trainings, & interviews into a multiple day process for each singular endorsement.

Where are BridgieNix' endorsements mostly from?

Small businesses, entertainment companies, indie film production companies, queer organizations, & entertainment unions.

BridgieNix said she is not endorsed or funded by casinos or special interests, but where do we check?

BridgieNix is the only candidate who has a donation transparency website connected to her political organization's bank account that shows where every dollar is being spent & coming from.
