MEET BRIDGIENIX

Hi, my name is BridgieNix. Short for Bridget Nicole Scheiner, but call me BridgieNix.
Allow me to introduce myself...

Early Life & Roots
Home for me lies between Houston, TX & Pinedale, WY. I was born in Rock Springs, WY, & moved to Houston outskirts at a young age. I visited Wyoming frequently, equally rooting my love for nature & animals as well as city vibrancy. Traveling the country for nationals & intensives while traveling globally as a student ambassador rep to the U.S., shaped worldwide friendships & international awareness. I grew to learn different country's cultures, global economics, & recognize my own privilege. From a young age, my mission was always to better the world & bring people together. I was an active volunteer, went on mission trips, & was involved in humanitarian extracurriculars. I have deep love for people of all backgrounds & was grateful to grow up in the most diverse county in the nation. My global connections shaped me to fight for humanity — advocating through awareness, communication, & creativity.
dance & artistic beginnings
Starting dance at age 3, I trained across Houston in various styles. I started competing at 5 & teaching at 14. Continuing my passion for art and leadership, I moved to Pittsburgh to attend my dream school - Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts on performance and academic scholarships. I honed my artistic craft, public writing, and leadership skills, graduating college early, cum-laude, with degrees in Dance and English.

education & leadership

Throughout college, I led student government, organized community initiatives, served on judicial board, spearheaded my university's finance committee, worked as a collegiate educator, & sharpened my advocacy skills—laying the foundation for my lifelong fight for social justice, equality, artists' rights, and community empowerment.
career in entertainment & fitness
After working on a cruise ship in Alaska and Canada post college, I headed to Los Angeles. There, I worked with music artists, danced in film & tv, filmed commercials, and was a celebrity fitness trainer for many studios and my own company. I loved using my background in dance with physical healing to bring confidence and joy to people. I donated to racial justice initiatives, supported animal rescues, and empowered women through my "sweat for a cause" charitable initiative via Beatz by BridgieNix, my fitness brand.

vegas & creative expansion
After a decade in LA, I relocated to Las Vegas to be a part of the creation of Silent House's Awakening on the strip—working alongside top choreographers and artists. After leaving the show I returned to a life of film work, live entertainment, fire performance, & launched BN Creative, my production company, dedicated to film and TV creative services - with a vision to grow Nevada’s Hollywood 3.0 industry locally—creating jobs, supporting artists, and revitalizing the economy.
Community & Advocacy
American education failed my generation & younger on how to navigate the real world. All the AP classes & standardizing testing did not teach us how to advocate for safe labor standards & fair compensation or fight inhumane labor laws. The result is economic collapse for all. Only a vocal, working class entertainer, who has always had to advocate for fair pay, can bring reform. I am known in my industry as the leader who protects my peers ahead of my career, fights wage theft, & stands up against abuse. I am excited to see the working class succeed & be at peace for once. I fight for workers in a way Nevada has never seen. I have landed in broken systems created by state legislators, & I know how to get us out of them.

A VISION FOR NEVADA
Nevada’s strength lies in its diversity. I'm proud to be a fierce advocate for queer rights, gender equality, equity, racial justice, autonomy, safety for all, civil rights, and an economically abundant life. Nevada will one day have increased funding for healthcare, education, film resources, animal rescues, conservation, the unhoused, mental health, arts, entertainment, survivors of any crime / abuse, cultural investment, food, unemployment reproductive research and disease treatments, foster care, humanitarian causes, youth outreach, & civic engagement. I'm excited to make Nevada a vibrant, inclusive hub for arts and tourism—reviving entertainment & making our state a welcoming destination for everyone.
I see a Nevada where opportunity is limitless and Nevadans are thriving — imagine... an energized, jazz-filled state of innovation, culture, and prosperity... a future that’s affordable for residents and tourism has no off season. Locals can enjoy a vibrant, fun, and equitable place to live. Now is the moment. Let us turn this dream into a current event—making Nevada not just a destination, but the place everyone fights to call home.
